The third generation of the Eggenberg´s family, Prince Johann Christian I. von Eggenberg, again elevate the importance of the Cesky Krumlov Castle. Prince Johann Christian I. von Eggenberg also initiated reconstruction that modified Renaissance residence into flashy and impressive Baroque residence.
