High Roller in Las Vegas

High Roller in Las Vegas

Shining brightly over Nevada's famous Las Vegas Strip, the 550 foot High Roller is impossible to miss, a key focal point at the LINQ's $550 million promenade. After you enjoy your ride on this magnificent Ferris wheel, you should stick around because the LINQ promenade offers a wealth of amenities including outdoor dining, shopping and entertainment venues.

The High Roller - Not Your Average Ferris Wheel

There's absolutely nothing average about the High Roller, the biggest observation/Ferris wheel in the world at a spectacular 550 feet tall (107ft taller than the London Eye and 9ft taller that the Singapore Flyer). As of this writing, the High Roller holds the Guinness World record as the largest observation wheel.

The Ride

The High Roller has 28 air conditioned, enclosed pods and each can hold up to 40 passengers. The pods have benches on both sides with a comfortable amount of floor space in between. Most people prefer to stand by the windows and gaze out at the incredible views and the ride is smooth enough for this not to be a problem for anyone, even if they have a mild fear of heights.

The Full High Roller Experience

For a real bird’s eye view of Las Vegas, do yourself a favor and enjoy a spin on this incredible Ferris wheel. From the time you board until you exit, the entire experience lasts about 30 minutes. During the ride you'll be able to watch videos and music shows in the cabin while enjoying a truly unequaled panoramic view of Las Vegas from its legendary Strip to the mountains and valley. Basically, there's something unique to see from every window. If you look to your right when you enter the cabin (the southwest corner) you'll have a fantastic view of the Strip at the highest point.

The High Roller’s wheelhouse has a bar where you can buy drinks and you can rent one of the pods/cabins and throw your own party, complete with a bartender. You can even get married on the High Roller - how cool would that be?

Getting There

You can get to the High Roller from the LINQ through multiple entrances. Transportation to and from the LINQ is easy as well, thanks to the Las Vegas Monorail that stops in front of the High Roller and makes other convenient stops at the Quad and Flamingo. In order to board the High Roller, visitors move through a building that has bathrooms, a bar and interesting interactive elements. The building also has a great hospitality space with nice outdoor patios that can be reserved for private parties, fitting up to 500 people.
